Muskrats

"The life in us is like the water in the river. Those muskrats don't drown easily, but eventually they will. Hopefully from a steady flood...

Treacherous Confetti

Climb the heights above the Hudson

Before the road is safe and open

Icy pillars line the road cheering

I pass in wonder, never fearing

The fans would shower down upon me

Icy stone crashing leeward, fore

At open Mic, open wounds are revealed to other victims
Banished dreams sloughed off one song at a time
The forgotten and unfound,
Wailing wishful sunset sounds
